Katie & Ben’s Brilliantly Personalised DIY Festival Wedding

Katie and Ben got married in a field on a friends farm. The perfect setting to create a personalised festival for all their favourite people to the celebrate their marriage. The attention to detail and the amount of personalised touches were brilliant!

They each got ready locally in their family homes, nothing like being in familiar environment with the people you love to make you feel super comfortable for the day. There were so many laughs - even one of the ushers getting himself locked in a bathroom resulting in the groom and his father having to break out the tool box to set him free! TRUE STORY!

The ceremony took place outside in front of the main party TeePee, which had tables and chairs inside for the main meal, an open bar, a dance floor for the evening, a Photo Booth, a glitter station and much, much more! In fact all over the field there were a number of themed teepees, vans and activities for guests to enjoy. All the guests were able to stay and camp in the field in their own glamping teepee, there was chill out zone, and even a coffee and cheese toasty van! Absolutely dreamy!

The ceremony itself was super fun and again incredibly personalised. A close friend, dressed as a vicar, lead the service which was full of great gags and personal anecdotes. Friends read out readings they had wrote themselves and the couple were belly laughing throughout the service.
